Go In Peace – Eve C. Mailly

Go in Peace by Eve C. Mailly is a haunting melody for string quartet that evokes a feeling of floating on a gentle breeze. The piece is ideal for worship music, a special moment in a wedding ceremony, for a memorial service — or anytime you want a quiet interlude. The notes “A-E-Eeee” are meant to mimic the words “Go in Peace” and can be heard in each of the parts at various times, but especially at the end, when each instrument ends with the three notes, one after the other.  Score, set of parts.
