This is a beautiful string trio arrangement of You Raise Me Up by Brendan Graham and Rolf Lovland. The melody starts out in the middle voice (either violin 2 or viola), accompanied by the cello and first violin. The first violin takes the melody for the first verse, with the other parts providing rhythmic and harmonic interest. At the end of the verse, the piece modulates from D major to F major, and feature the cello in alto clef, accompanied by the other two parts.
As with all of our string trio arrangements, the middle part is included in both treble and alto clef, giving you the flexibility of performing it with either two violins and cello OR violin, viola and cello. Cover, score, set of parts – 12 pages.
