In Christ Alone is a popular modern Christian song written by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend, and features an Irish melody. Although it was written in 2001, it has been a favorite contemporary Christian hymn ever since.
This arrangement was created for string trio, The beautiful melody is introduced by the cello, and it picked up by the middle part (viola or violin 2), followed by the first violin. As with all of our arrangements, the middle part is included in both treble and alto clef so that it can either be played by two violins and a cello or a violin, viola and cello — giving you greater performance flexibility.
