The Twelve Days of Christmas is a traditional English Christmas carol that was originally published in 1780. It is a well-known song, with each verse describing a different set of gifts that are given during each of the twelve days of Christmas. The song has been used in countless movies, and has been extensively parodied.
This arrangement is for string trio. As with all of our string trio arrangements, the middle part is included in both treble and alto clef giving you the flexibility of performing it with either two violins and cello OR violin, viola and cello. Each member of the trio is featured with different gift days, with the mood lighthearted throughout.
