We Three Kings of Orient Are (original title “Three Kings of Orient“) or “The Quest of the Magi“, is a Christmas carol that was written by John Henry Hopkins Jr. in 1857. This arrangement for string trio features three variations, with each instrument having an opportunity to take the lead. As with all of our string trio arrangements, the middle part is included in both treble and alto clef, allowing you to perform the piece with either two violins and cello, or violin, viola and cello.
