Paint It Black – The Rolling Stones

Paint It Black was written by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, and was originally performed by The Rolling Stones. It has had a renewed popularity since being used as a cello solo with theme and variations in the television program Wednesday. This arrangement is for string quartet, and follows a similar pattern of theme and variations, as heard on the television recordings. Both the first violin and the cello have an opportunity to play the melody, but each part is equally important. Fun to hear, and a good piece to brush up on playing arpeggios!  Score, set of parts 15 pages.
