Another One Bites the Dust is a song by the British rock band Queen. It was written by the group’s bassist, John Deacon, and quickly became a hit. The original is heavy on piano and drums, and this arrangement for string quartet emulates the percussive qualities of the original with the familiar bass line, played by the cello (and often the viola), while the violins play the vocal line in harmony. It’s a popular piece to add to any setlist – a crowd pleaser! Score, set of parts 15 pages.
