Und Frieden Fuer Die Welt (Mary’s Little Boy Child) is a beautiful Christmas piece written by Jester Hairston. This arrangement is for string trio, with the melody played with warm harmonies, and at a relaxed tempo. The second and third variations, however, pick up the tempo to add interest and fun to the piece.
As with all of our string trio arrangements, the middle part can be played by either a second violinist (treble clef) or a violist (alto clef) giving you the flexibility of performing the piece with either two violins and cello, or violin, viola and cello. Score, set of parts 14 pages.
