Billie Jean is a song by American singer Michael Jackson and was released on his album, Thriller (1982). The driving bass pattern is one of the hallmark features of this song. This arrangement for string trio is true to the original, with the cello keeping a strong, forward movement as the two upper strings swap the melody back and forth. As with all of our string trio arrangements, we are including the middle part in both treble and alto clef, so it can be played by either two violins and a cello, or a violin, viola and cello, giving you great performance flexibility.
