Jailhouse Rock is a song recorded by American singer Elvis Presley for the film of the same name. It was written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. This arrangement is for string trio, with the first violin carrying the melody and the cello providing the well-known bass line. The instrumental interlude in the middle adds flair, with lots of energy throughout the piece. As with all of our string trios, the middle part is included in both treble and alto clef. Score, set of parts. Watch it on You Tube – HERE!
