Jingle Bells (One Horse Open Sleigh)

Jingle Bells (originally One Horse Open Sleigh) is one of the best-known American songs in the world. Composed in 1850 by James Lord Pierpont (1822 – 1893) it has been modified and used by countless artists over the last 150 years. This arrangement is for string trio, and is true to the original melody, with echoes of sleigh bells throughout. As with all of our string trios, the middle part is included in both treble and alto clef giving you the flexibility of performing it with EITHER two violins and cello OR violin, viola and cello.
